22 veterans commit suicide every day and I was seconds away from becoming one of them. My name is Harrison Manyoma Program Development manager for Heroes to Heroes Foundation. I am not just an alumni, an employee, but I am one that’s life was changed and transformed due to Judy Elias and Heroes to Heroes. I got the opportunity to go to Israel to awaken my faith, to take care of my forgiveness and to just be healed completely and transformed after so many years of trauma because of PTSD and going to war in Iraq. Today, I stand here and sit here today so that you can give an opportunity to another hero to take the journey to Israel. At the Western Wall I had my complete transformation, my hand was healed, I felt my heart was put back in place and I started to remember why I chose life over death. Faith, Healing, Forgiveness.
