The Austin Humane Society (AHS) offers
comprehensive, humane, life-saving animal
services, transforming the lives of animals
and those who love them.

AHS serves nearly 11,000 animals each year.

The AHS Community Cat program helps make neighborhood cats happier
and healthier.

AHS takes in hundreds of medical cases each year, giving second chances to
animals who would otherwise not get a second look.

AHS leads the way in disaster response, both natural and manmade, ensuring
people and pets are helped in times of crisis.

Through the Humane Heroes program, AHS provides free humane education to
the next generation of animal-lovers.
